Bruce Springsteen -No surrender

Well, we bursted out of class
Had to get away from those fools
We learned more from a 3-minute record, baby
Than we ever learned in school
Tonight I hear the neighborhood drummer sound
I can feel my heart begin to pound
You say you're tired and you just want to close your eyes
And follow your dreams down

Chorus:
Well, we made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Like soldiers in the winter's night
With a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender

Well, now young faces grow sad and old
And hearts of fire grow cold
We swore blood brothers against the wind
Now I'm ready to grow young again
And hear your sister's voice calling us home
Across the open yards
Well maybe we'll cut someplace of own
With these drums and these guitars

'Cause we made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Blood brothers in the stormy night
With a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender

Now on the street tonight the lights grow dim
The walls of my room are closing in
There's a war outside still raging
You say it ain't ours anymore to win
I want to sleep beneath
Peaceful skies in my lover's bed
With a wide open country in my eyes
And these romantic dreams in my head

Once we made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Blood brothers in a stormy night
With a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender

Ohhhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhhh

KYLIE MINOGUE - LOCOMOTION

Everybody's doin' a brand new dance now
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
i know you'll get to like it
if you give it a chance now
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
my little baby sister can do it with ease
it's easier than learning your a b c's
so come on, come on
do the loco-motion with me
You gotta swing your hips now
come on baby, jump up, hmmm jump back
oh well i think you got the knack
Now that you can do it
let's make a chain now
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
chug-a chug-a motion like a railway train now
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
do it nice and easy now don't lose control
a little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul
so come on, come on
do the loco-motion with me
You gotta swing your hips now
come on, come on
do the loco-motion with me
yeah
Move around the floor in a loco-motion
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
do it holding hands if you got the notion
(c'mon baby do the loco-motion)
There's never been a dance that's so easy to do
it even makes you happy
when you're feeling blue
so come on come on do the loco-motion with me
you gotta swing your hips now
Come on, come on
do the loco-motion with me
yeah
come on, come on
do the loco-motion with me
you gotta swing your hips now
(repeat & fade)

It's impossible - James Arthur

I remember years ago, someone told me I should take
caution when it comes to love I did
and you were strong and I was not
my illusion, my mistake
I was careless and forgot I did

And now, when all is done there is nothing to say
you have gone and so effortlessly
you have won, you can go ahead tell them

Chorus:
Tell them all I know now
shout it from the roof tops
write it on the skyline
all we had is gone now.
Tell them I was happy
and my heart is broken
all my scars are open
tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible, impossible, impossible.

Fallin' out of love is hard,
falling for betrayal is worst
broken trust and broken hearts
I know, I know
and thinking all you need is there
building faith on love is worst
empty promises will wear
I know, I know

And now when all is done there is nothing to say
and if you're done with embarrassing me...

on your own you can go ahead tell them

Chorus:
Tell them all I know now
shout it from the roof tops
write it on the sky line
all we had is gone now.
Tell them I was happy
and my heart is broken
all my scars are open
tell them what I hoped would be impossible
Impossible, impossible, impossible, impossible

I remember years ago, someone told me I should take
caution when it comes to love, I did

All I hoooooooped would be....
Impossible, impossible, impossible, impossible

Phil Collins - Two Hearts ( Video and Lyrics)

Well, there was no reason to believe she’d always be there
But if you don’t put faith in what you believe in
It’s getting you nowhere
Cos it hurts, you never let go
Don’t look down, just look up
Cos she’s always there to behind you, just to remind you

Two hearts, believing in just one mind
You know we’re two hearts believing in just one mind

Cos there’s no easy way to, to understand it
There’s so much of my life in her, and it’s like I’m blinded
And it teaches you to never let go
There’s so much love you’ll never know
She can reach you no matter how far
Wherever you are

Two hearts, believing in just one mind
Beating together till the end of time
You know we’re two hearts believing in just one mind
Together forever till the end of time

She knows (she knows)
There’ll always be a special place in my heart for her
She knows, she knows, she knows
Yeah, she knows (she knows)
No matter how far apart we are
She knows, I’m always right there beside her

We’re two hearts...

THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY - OSCAR WILDE

Author: OSCAR WILDE
Publisher year: 201992
Original title, language, year: THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY
Type of book:
Translators: Original
Number of pages: 177
Read in: English

Wilde's only novel, first published in 1890, is a brilliantly designed puzzle, intended to tease conventional minds with its exploration of the myriad interrelationships between art, life, and consequence. From its provocative Preface, challenging the reader to believe in "art for art's sake", to its sensational conclusion, the story selfconsciously experiments with the notion of sign as an element of design. Yet Wilde himself underestimated the consequences of his experiment, and its capacity to outrage the Victorian establishment. Its words returned to haunt him in his court appearances in 1895, and he later recalled the "note of doom" which runs like "a purple thread" through its carefully crafted prose.
